How we work

Our Process

From First Conversation to Finished Garden

Creating an exceptional outdoor space involves much more than simply choosing plants or laying paving. Successful projects require good design, careful planning, skilled contractors and effective project management.

GardenHelp Landscapes provide a professionally managed service designed to make the entire process as straightforward as possible. From the first conversation through to final completion, we coordinate the people, planning and specialist expertise required to bring each project to life.

01

Initial Consultation

Every project starts with understanding what you want to achieve. We discuss your property, ideas, priorities, preferred style, how you would like to use the space and the approximate scope of the project.
02

Site Assessment

Understanding the site is fundamental to good landscape design. Depending on the project, we assess the existing garden, access levels, orientation, drainage, existing planting and structures, surrounding architecture and other factors that may influence the design and construction. This includes a first site visit and site survey. This gives the project team a clear understanding of both the opportunities and practical considerations of the site.
03

Design & Development

Once the design direction has been agreed, your garden design is developed into a clear final proposal that brings together the key elements of your new outdoor space. The final design considers the layout, materials, planting, levels, features and practical requirements of the garden or outdoor living area, creating a cohesive plan that can be taken forward into the construction phase. With the design agreed, GardenHelp can then coordinates the next stage of the project, including pricing, procurement, specialist contractors and landscape construction.

04

Build & Installation

The construction phase brings the design to life. Works may include ground preparation, drainage, paving, patios and terraces, lawns, planting, raised beds, garden structures, lighting, irrigation and outdoor living installations. Good project management is essential to delivering a high-quality project. Throughout the build, our project managers coordinate between the build team, design team and the customer to ensure a seamless delivery, our role is to keep the different elements of the project working together and ensure the agreed design and specification remain central to the delivery process.

The final stage is completion; the finished project is reviewed and prepared for handover. We want every GardenHelp project to deliver more than a newly landscaped garden. The objective is to create a considered outdoor environment that complements the property, works for the people using it and can be enjoyed for years to come.

05

Post Project Completion (Maintain)

Once the project is completed, we offer complete maintenance services to our clients so they can be reassured in the knowledge their property will continue to maintain and look its best throughout the year. Our maintenance projects are optional and can be included as part of an ongoing plan or worked as part of your schedule.
